Frequency Forecast for Oct. 19-24, 2025, as the Sun transits Gate 50, the Gate of Values

The Sun moved into Gate 50, the Gate of Values, a.k.a. the Maestro, yesterday, October 19th, where it will remain for the next five days.

The energy we’re being influenced by now, due to this shift, has us examining the values, norms, and customs we’ve been upholding,

and asking whether they’re still meeting the needs of everyone in our group.

Because, if not, says Gate 50, then it’s time to let go of what’s no longer working,

and modernize the way we operate,

so that our norms and traditions actually do serve the group,

and so that the way we do things brings about harmony and goodness for all.

Here’s where 50 lives in the body, so you know which part of you, and me, and everyone else Earth, is being activated between now and October 24th:

If so, you’ll be familiar with its markings, because you wear them, inside you, to one degree or another, at all times.

Notice this trait working inside you:

become aware of your own impulses to take or refuse responsibility, assume leadership, establish traditions, and/or coerce others into following your rules.

It’s important to also notice where 50 would connect, if it were to reach out to another Gate and form a full Channel:

to Gate 27, the Gate of Caring, or Nourishment, nicknamed the Mother Teresa Gate.

When connected, these two form the Channel of Preservation —

meaning, this is the superpower that’s in charge of preserving the well-being of the tribe.’

Big responsibility, eh?

Be aware that Gate 50, a patriarchal, provider, fatherly-love kind of energy, always wants to pair up with that nurturing mum who’ll help facilitate the act of preserving the wellness of the community or family.

So, you might, if Gate 50 is defined in your chart, feel a kind of everlasting longing for the sort of partnership where you get to dominate — if I may use that word softly? —

but where you also get the benefit of a super-strong significant other who’s always standing at your side, always doing their part to uphold the values of the tribe and help you ensure the group’s needs get met.

Quite the power couple.

If you don’t have Gate 50 lit up in your birth chart, pay attention to its themes arising both inside yourself and others in the week ahead,

but don’t make this transit about you. It’s not on your life’s course syllabus, so it’s not your power to learn how to wield.

Just be aware that it is on some people’s syllabus, so it is their lesson to learn and their power to figure out how to master in this lifetime.

Give them grace as they practice with it,

allow yourself to build empathy for them as you get to experience firsthand, this week, the struggles they’re under,

and then be ready to let this frequency go by the time the 25th rolls around, because we’ll be under a whole new set of energetic influences then!

 Here’s more of what to expect this week:

Gate 50 is authoritative energy —

notice that I didn’t say “authoritarian” energy, because I’m not here to stoke fear in anyone —

that’s being ignited inside each of us.

It’s a vibration that feels compelled to assume responsibility (or not), based on the values it holds dear.

It’s father love —the kind that talks about what’s allowed ‘under my roof.’

The Gate of Values is the energy that proclaims,

“This is how we do things here. Don’t like it? Fine. Leave. But if you’re willing to play by my rules, then by all means, stick around and I will promise you my love, care, devotion and protection. As long as you remain loyal and do what’s expected of you, you can stay. Otherwise, get out!”

Because someone’s gotta take charge, right?

This is how we preserve the well-being of the tribe?

We all agree on some rules and values and norms and traditions, and we commit to doing our part to uphold them?

Gate 50, also called The Cauldron, also called The Maestro, just feels responsible for keeping everyone in line.

Tit-for-Tat

As I mentioned, 50 is one of the energies in the Tribal circuit, concerned with making deals and shaking hands, making arrangements about tit-for-tat bennies.

Any Tribal energy in the chart, including Gate 50, loves an “I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine” kind of agreement,

because it’s driven by the need to survive.

Gate 50’s particular agreements always come back to what the group’s values, rules, customs and norms are.

These are the issues that are going to be live all week, leading headlines around the world.

I’ll definitely have my eyes on the news and my ears wide open to listen for discussions, commentary and debates revisiting issues around deals, exchanges, handshakes and agreements, stories about leaders swapping this-for-that.

Things involving money.

Things involving what we need to survive.

Things involving valuables.

(Stolen jewels, perhaps, from the Louvre? Hmmm…)

I anticipate hearing more about things like:

• Israeli-Palestine hostage exchanges.
• the government shutdown
• the GOP’s removal of subsidies that have kept our healthcare costs somewhat manageable
• the F15 hangar for Quatar in Idaho that was seemingly exchanged for a gold-plated airplane, or other swaps like it
• certain business leaders’ or congresspeople’s unwavering loyalty to the Tangerine Taco in exchange for his protection from imprisonment
• Bitcoin to the Trump family in exchange for taxpayer-funded bailouts…

Annnd who knows? Perhaps Virginia Giuffre’s book, being released this week, will reveal a whole bunch more secret, behind-the-scenes handshakes about Epstein’s underage sex ring and its pursuant blackmail scheme.

Gate 50 is also known for its heightened sense of hearing:

Being one of those primal-instinct energies located in the Splenic Center, that triangle on the left of the bodygraph, 50 can hear a dog whistle, if it pays attention,

and it’s especially aware when there’s discord taking place versus when there’s harmony in the group.

Literally and figuratively.

With any luck, 50 will acknowledge an unpleasant cacophony, blaring from out-of-tune instruments and screaming masses,

it’ll actually work to address that section of the orchestra that’s totally off-key,

and it’ll take responsibility for getting everyone playing back on pitch and in sync.

Or not, if it’s languishing in shadow.

Listen closely, for the next five days, to discordant notes coming from the world around you:

What do you hear that’s out of sync?

What needs to be brought back into harmony?

This transit is our opportunity to examine the following:

• What do we actually value?
• What are we holding dear?
• What matters to us?
• What’s ethical, according to our beliefs?
• What does integrity mean to us?
• What proverbial line are we drawing in the sand?
• What happens when a group member crosses it?
• What offends our sensibilities?
• What are we willing to fight for?
• How did we get here, and where did we come from?
• What do we need to keep doing because it’s working, versus what are we willing to give up because it’s not working?
• Who’s being a team player and fairly chipping in to do their part?
• Conversely, who in our group is misbehaving, taking more than their fair share, squandering resources, or pushing back against the values and customs we’re trying to uphold?

But let’s not stop there.

The influence of the Sun shining rays of Gate 50 — if we’re aligned and vibing high — will give us the power to maturely reckon with the fact that some of our values might be super outdated.

We’ll need to listen, openly and patiently, to fellow group members when they raise objections about how the rules, as they’re currently set forth, are no longer working to support everyone in the tribe, and that some things really need to change around here.

The self-actualized, high-functioning Gate 50 will be able to say in response,

“Y’know what? You’re right. That rule was only really helping certain members, so let’s go ahead and do away with it because it’s not fair. You make a good argument, so we can update our rules to make sure everyone gets equal protection.”

Here are some of the low-vibe signs to watch out for, in yourself and others, that come with Gate 50.

If you realize you’re doing the following, stop, catch yourself, and pivot away from them:

❌unwittingly creating discontent, discord & resentment amongst group members

❌fear of taking responsibility

❌suffering from a sense of inadequacy around whether you actually have the chops to take care of others

❌abandoning loved ones or community members in their time of need

❌keeping loose or sloppy boundaries; overstepping other people’s boundaries, letting them cross yours, and/or not having any real clarity around where your boundaries even are

❌staying loyal to the wrong people and the wrong things for too long

❌holding onto what no longer serves you, keeping things around way past their due date

❌not properly nourishing and caring for yourself

❌not valuing the individuals under your care

❌not being clear about what matters to you, what traditions and norms you hold dear

❌failing to recognize your people’s unique contributions to the group

❌misusing your power; being demanding, controlling,

❌failing to get group members into sync

❌putting people into roles that are all wrong for them; not taking their desires & strengths into consideration.
