Pluto stations direct today in Gate 60.6, the Gate of Acceptance (of Limitations)

Since August 20th of this year, Pluto —

the planet that rules the underworld and dredges up the things in our lives that are ready to die, be reborn or transformed —

has been transiting, in retrograde, the Gate of Acceptance, also known as the Gate of Limitation.

This activation has been forcing us to retrace our steps and take a closer look at the issues of restraint and rigidity in our lives,

to determine what restrictions are acceptable,

and decide what needs to go the way of the Dodo.

The topic of boundaries and guardrails which have been limiting our freedoms is, indeed, showing itself everywhere.

We’ve been discovering all sorts of new rules that threaten to keep us hemmed in.

And we’re trying our damnedest to make sense of these limitations so we can decide whether, or how, we might follow them.

We’re weighing whether New Rules are things we can abide by;

whether, and for whom, the status quo supports people’s individual needs.

which guidelines we’ve been following that are woefully out of date and need to be modernized;

and what kinds of laws we can accept because they keep us safe and thriving,

versus which ones no longer apply.

To those of us navigating ‘Merica in the Big ‘25, this means all kinds of things:

feeding ourselves and our families on reduced paychecks,

Tangerine’s onslaught of outrageous Executive Orders,

restrictions on voting rights,

removal of protections for vulnerable groups,

Dem leadership upholding ‘decorum’ when so many of us want them to move away from the status quo,

the authoritarian fist that’s been tightening around our people.

It’s the gestapo in our streets.

The clampdown on our freedoms.

The strong arm of the patriarchy refusing to let go of the control it’s held for centuries to keep we, the people, boxed-in.

Let’s just blame Pluto in Gate 60 for all that.

Specifically, its retrograde cycle, which, thank friggin’ lord, ended yesterday.

Can you feel the wheels turning in a new direction already?

I can.

While the fist of Limitation will no-doubt continue to squeeze us for a couple more months-ish, things are about to start moving a lot faster, I believe, and — if we play our cards well — in the right direction.

With Pluto hanging out in Gate 60.6 in forward motion, now through December 5th of this year, it’s like we’re approaching finals week of a 200-level masterclass in the Gate of Acceptance (of Limitations).

If we don’t learn our lesson about Restrictions and Rules by the first week of December?

Pluto’s gonna leave us in the dust.

Here’s what the old texts say about the vibrations we’re being influenced by when a planetary body is transiting Gate 60 in the 6th Line, specifically:

“Gate 60: The Gate of Acceptance:

The Pulsing Pressure to Mutate

The acceptance of limitation is the first step in transcendence. It is the ‘space between’ where mutation takes place. Mutation is released in limited amounts.

Line 6 – Rigidity

Exaltation: The intuitive intellect to recognize when absolute rigidity is essential, but with innovative applications to lessen its severity. A fixed energy that is unusual in its capacity for restraint.

Detriment: The dogmatic, principled and carefully reasoned understanding that is uncompromising in its severity and often coldly brutal in operation. An uncompromising and severe acceptance of restraint. So uncompromising that the restraint may become unbearable and lead to chronic depression.”

A word on “mutation,” before we proceed:

it just means change.

Humanity is always mutating. A little at a time.

Right now, in fact, our species is undergoing a massive mutation, which explains all the insane fuckery, and which I’ll talk about more as the days unfold.

But, the way it works is, essentially, change, i.e. “mutation,” begins first with one, singular, brave, Individual soul,

daring to take a step in a different direction from their group,

doing something that’s different from the norm,

risking rejection from their family or community when they do so,

but nevertheless following their own, internal, unique impulse to do their own, weird thing.

Because, to an Individual, not doing their own, weird thing is akin to dying.

Really, it’s that heavy.

Scary, and potentially isolating, as being Individualistic can feel, if a person who carries a lot of Individual energetic traits in their body isn’t “allowed” to follow their natural impulses to carve their unique path?

Then life becomes tremendously difficult and depressing for them.

But let’s say the Individual does follow their impulses, and they do courageously set out on their own to be weird.

Once an individual demonstrates they can actually do something offbeat without getting themselves hurt or killed,

and especially if they make their transformation look cool,

then their Tribe accepts them!

Soon, other members of the Tribe follow suit.

They do the same “weird” thing, and suddenly, it stops being “weird.”

If things play out the way they’re meant to, before long, a small group of neophytes proves, to the masses, that this newfangled way of being is actually good, beneficial, and something more folks should try!

Eventually, the entire Collective takes on what was once a “weird,” daring, risk. And thus the new way of being becomes the norm.

Gate 60, you should know, is a tremendously Individualistic Gate frequency.

It feels very alone in the world.

Like it’s the only one who sees the use in keeping up with traditions and norms.

That everyone else is moving too fast into the future, leaving ol’ Gate 60 behind.

It’s really, really afraid of change.

You might say it’s terrified of progress…

Something we’re absolutely seeing on the world stage right now.

60 is one of, if not THE MOST, old-school, traditional, grandpa-like, content to keep things as-is, don’t-you-dare-move-the-furniture-around, Gates in the chart.

Gate 60 is Root Center energy, too, so it’s pressurized, under stress, at risk of getting tremendously depressed if it uses its energy improperly,

and will only move toward something new when it properly follows the pulse — from the Earth below — to launch into action toward something new.

When it understands that restrictions have been lifted.

When it senses that it’s safe to move forward and do its own, weird thing.

When it sees that the barriers have evaporated and the roadblocks have been removed.

All this to say, you can see now why the patriarchy is holding on for dear life.

Pluto’s been excavating the ground beneath the roadblocks, so none of us really knows where they should be set.

It just means that learning to Accept Limitations is on your life’s course syllabus. Change is probably hard for you.

But it also means you’re probably really good at doing the best you can with what you’ve got.

Gate 60’s high-vibes can be like our grandparents were during the Great Depression:

they got resourceful AF, despite having zero dollars and no food to feed their families.

Somehow, they survived.

If you don’t have 60 lit up in your chart, you’ve been feeling it since August. With Pluto rockin’ these vibes, every blessed one of us has been under its influence.

But back to the point-6 of it all, 60.6, Rigidity.

Line 6 is the most mature level of Gate 60,

what we are meant to aspire to as we learn our way through this Pluto transit,

even as it dredges up everything we’ve known, ‘til now, to provide us with a sense of orderliness, laws and safety.

My interpretation?

Rules are helpful. Guardrails and guidelines keep us operating within sensible bounds.

Restricting ourselves can be useful, sometimes.

We just have to do it right.

Not too soon, not too late.

Not too much, not too little.

Unfortunately, TACO’s administration is missing the memo. Here’s some helpful tips on how to use this energy, between now and Dec. 5th, that we can all use to stay on our strong side through the remainder of this transit:

How to Reach for the High Vibe of 60.6

✅Say: “Hell no, we won’t go!”

✅Stand your ground, dig in your heels and refuse to acquiesce to forced changes until restrictions are removed, so that correct — i.e., just — progress can be made for the whole group.

✅Get resourceful and creative in this season of desperation.

✅Trust that stupid, outdated or totally illegal rules will evaporate eventually, but until they do, use the tools that are available right now to keep coloring within the lines.

✅Leverage lawyers and clever legal tactics to achieve your goals without doing anything deceitful, illegal, harmful or that will put a target on your back.

✅Engage in peaceful, civil disobedience. (E.g., a sit-in, a hunger strike, a flotilla, dressing up as a frog and dance in the streets outside of an ICE facility despite guns and chemical agents being pointed at you, etc.)

✅Trust your own, individual, forward-focused ability to think critically, and think for yourself.

✅Visualize what’s possible and imagine how high you’ll jump when these restrictive barriers do finally evaporate (because they surely will).

✅Make good use of your restricted position while you’re stuck in it (whatever that might mean for you).

✅Exercise more patience than you’ve ever exercised in your whole dang life and wait for change to come at the right time.

✅Hold the vision for an extraordinarily expansive future that will take us far beyond this hellscape.

What to Avoid to Stay Out of 60.6’s Low Vibe State

❌Do not accept unreasonable limitations just because “that’s the way things have always been done.”

❌Do not agree to follow outrageous orders without so much as questioning their legitimacy.

❌Do not show blind devotion to things like a religion without questioning what its principles are designed to achieve.

❌Do not worship anyone, dictator or otherwise, just because he or she threatens you with an indictment if you don’t bow down.

❌Don’t lazily succumb ‘group think.’

❌Don’t agree to new restrictions just because someone told you “this is how things are gonna be from now on.”

❌Don’t settle for the status quo.

❌Don’t ignore the pulse telling you that some change is necessary.

❌Don’t be afraid to consider different ways of advancing change despite current restrictions.

❌Don’t forget that you are your own sovereign being, with personal agency over yourself who possesses the right to exist with dignity.

Tracking Pluto’s Progress

Below is a graphic to help you visualize how Pluto’s been ticking its way through the Rave Mandala, or what we sometimes call the Wheel of the Year in Human Design terms.

I’ve indicated where, on the Wheel, this outer planet has been hovering since November of 2024, when it first reached Gate 60 (Acceptance/Limitation) for the first time in 248 years.

It then moved into Gate 41, the Gate of Contraction/Decrease, in January of 2025 and stayed there through Spring.

Mind you, Gate 60 is super Capricorn.

41, on the other hand, is super Aquarius.

So, while a lot of folks have been calling this turbulent timeline the Age of Aquarius, it’s actually not.

It’s just that Pluto hasn’t hung out in Aquarius since the time of the French Revolution, the American Revolution, and several other revolutions.

And since it’s been retrograding on us since May of this year, the slowpoke hasn’t even been in Aquarius.

With this long stretch in Gate 60, it’s actually been giving us more Capricorn vibes than anything.

Which is why you probably haven’t felt very peace-love-and-fuzzy-unicorns all that much this year.

Pluto won’t hit that pie-in-the-sky, anything-is-possible, I’ll-be-down-here-crouching-and-strengthening-my-legs-getting-ready-to-jump-so-high-I’ll-reach-the-moon-someday, Aquarian Gate 41 vibe again until December 5th, 2025.

So, we’re gonna have to find a way to buckle down and stay within the guardrails of Gate 60.6 until then.

I digress. Back to the image below…

If you’re new here, take a look at all those numbers at the edges, which might seem like they’re randomly placed in no particular order around the wheel.

They’re not random.

Those are the 64 Gates, or Keys of the I’Ching, arranged in their static placements within their corresponding zodiac signs.

The 64 Gates, again, are the energetic frequencies every planet orbits through on their cosmic pathway, thereby influencing humanity to feel, think, and behave in certain kinds of ways, and which wind up manifesting in us humans as personality traits because they live in our bodies, as revealed to us in our Human Design charts.

Here’s how it all comes together:

Pluto’s Timeline Recap & A Look Ahead:

Pluto made it to Gate 60.1 for the first time in 248 years on November 26th, 2024.

Through December, it ticked through all six Lines of that Gate of Acceptance/Limitation, and then reached our lovable Aquarian Gate 41.1, Contraction/Decrease, in January of 2025.

But it went retrograde after it had reached Gate 41.2, on May 4, 2025.

It reversed back into 41.1 on July 10, 2025.

Pluto then reversed even deeper, into Gate 60.6, on August 20, 2025, which is where it has remained up through this day.

Pluto finally completed its retrograde pathway in 60.6 yesterday, Oct. 13, 2025.

And so, this subterranean-dredging planet of the underworld, which rules the things in our lives which must die and be reborn or transformed completely, proceeds at last in a forward-facing fashion at this very moment.

It will reach 41.1 on December 5, 2025, and proceed directly, through Spring of 2028, when it hits Gate 19, the Gate of Wanting/Approach, at which point the sucker goes retrograde once more.

But that’s a story for another timeline. Hopefully, a much more peaceful one than the one we’re living through now.
