Frequency Forecast: Oct. 14-19, 2025, as the Sun transits Gate 32, the Gate of Duration/Continuity, highlighting our fear of failure, how to sniff out success, & why Mike Johnson needs to swear in Rep-Elect Grijalva asap
Is it finally time to let go?
While Pluto works us over with restrictions and limitations during the final stretch of its transit in Gate 60.6, the Sun adds complexity to this week, shining rays of Gate 32, Continuity, a.k.a. Duration, down upon us.

From Tuesday, October 14th, through the morning of Sunday, October 19th, all of humanity is being heavily influenced by the energy of Gate 32, the Gate of Continuity and/or Duration, as Earth orbits the Sun, creating a new frequency for us to navigate:
the energy for determining whether to keep doing what we’ve been doing because it’s working, or not.
This Sun transit through gives us all a chance to examine:
- what we have the ambition and energy to keep pursuing
- whether the cycle we’re currently in is bringing us all the good things we actually want and deserve out of life, or not
- which activities we’re currently engaged in that are worth our continued effort
- whether the tactics and strategies we’ve been using in this current cycle to achieve our goals are, in fact, sustainable and proving to be successful
- if the path we’ve been following seems to be leading to more of a dead-end than toward a great opportunity
- whether something we’ve been working on has, at last, run its course
- whether a relationship or project is actually o-v-e-r, but we’ve just been too afraid to properly end it
- whether we have the courage to cut our losses and walk away from something, even if we’ve been pursuing it wholeheartedly for a loooong time
- whether something we’re involved in has past its expiration date or still has life & potential left in it
- whether we’ve given something the ol’ college try and, even if it didn’t work out, whether we can still feel proud for having shown up and made the effort
- whether it’s our fear of failure that’s keeping us from trying something new
- whether we just keep doing the same damn thing over and over, hoping for different results like a crazy person, because deep down, we’re actually terrified of looking like losers if we were to stop doing it.
I anticipate that, despite this lackluster economy, some folks are going to quiet-quit their jobs this week because they just can’t take it anymore.
Some people might prematurely end relationships that would otherwise benefit from a little counseling. (And they’ll regret having done so next week.)
Others will, feeling hopeless, continue to just grin and bear a terrible situation that they really should leave, because they don’t know what else they would do.
What’s coming up for you, as you’re under the influence of this energy right now?
Do you feel like putting the kibosh on something? Or are you super pumped to be part of a continuing project?
Whether you ‘have’ Gate 32 lit up in your Human Design chart or not, you’ll feel its effects this week.
Use it to finally let go of something that needs closure.
Or simply take this opportunity to make some observations in the world around you, recognizing that this frequency is bearing down upon everyone, and noticing who’s having trouble with it, but not letting yourself get too caught up in the drama.
The ‘Smell’ of Success & Failure
Gate 32 lives in the Spleen — our body’s oldest energy center and the one that’s in charge of processing fear, our intuition, our sense of awareness in-the-now, our primal instincts, our sense of smell, our ability to perceive threats, our spatial awareness of what’s taking place in our environment, our health and wellness, and our sense of safety.
The Spleen is in charge of our most ancient survival skills, dating back to prehistoric times when early humans relied on their noses to keep themselves and their families safe.
Gate 32 is the trait within the Spleen carries a particular knack when it comes to the nose:
the gift of being able to sniff out success.
Figuratively and sometimes literally.
“Mmmmmm,” it purrs, nose hairs wriggling.
“This opportunity smells promising! Let’s go for it!”
Or, conversely, “Ewwwww!” 32 shrieks, backing away from the spoiled-milk stench of certain failure.
“Don’t do it! It’s rotten! It’ll make you sick! You could die!”
Early humans knew that one faulty move could, in fact, lead to death, and put the whole tribe in jeopardy.
So the development of one’s sense of smell here — to be able to sniff out successful survival — is key.
In today’s world, 32 isn’t needed for sniffing out whether there’s a sabertooth tiger lurking in the forest, or whether the berries someone’s about to eat are actually poisonous, obviously.
But it is extremely good at latching itself onto a promising endeavor, one that is sure to bring about wealth, comfort, safety, nourishment and security.
That is, as long as Gate 32 is being used in the highest expression.
If not, it can completely ignore the scent of a potential threat,
pretend it doesn’t notice the wafting odor of decay,
totally disregard a long-overdue expiration date on the container of milk.
A misaligned Gate 32 might take a swig of that spoiled milk anyway, despite all signs indicating that it’s well past the time to finally get rid of it.
Scroll back up to the image at the top and check out where 32 connects to form a full Channel:
to the Root Center, where it meets Gate 54, the Gate of Ambition, to form the Channel of Transformation.
These two are quite the power couple when they’re hooked up.
Gate 54 provides the pulse of ambition and the powerful drive to pursue any challenge that gets set in its path.
But it can tend to go after the wrong things and burn itself out chasing every potential route to success.
Which is why it needs a little help from an aligned, high-vibe 32:
- Someone who’s paying attention to expiration dates, potential threats, and skanky smells.
- Someone who trusts their intuition about what’s no longer working.
- Someone who’s tuned into the natural, cyclical nature of life.
- Someone who understands that when one thing ends, it just makes room for another, potentially successful thing to begin.
- Someone who knows that endings aren’t something to cry about or be fearful of.
- Someone who’s not afraid to let go of what’s no longer working.
- Someone who can guide that 54 toward the right pursuits that really do bring about prosperity.
Together, when 54 and 32 combine to form the Channel of Transformation, they know how to succeed in life,
and they use their energy to go after only the right endeavors (which are different from one person to the next).
What if you don’t have either Gate 32 or 54 lit up in your chart? Does that mean you’re destined to fail at life?
Hell no!
It just means you go about reaching your goals in some different way — not through taking action based on your body’s inner pulse of ambition, and not through intuiting what’s going to be a sure-fire win.
Unfortunately, however, during this transit, a lot of us are going to be tricked into believing we are lacking in some way.
That we’re not successful enough. Not trying hard enough. Not working enough hours. Not making enough money…
We may feel struck by the awareness that it’s time to quit something that actually does still have more in store.
We may feel compelled to give up on something too soon.
We might become convinced that it’s time to hurry up and get a thing done, even though it’s not fully complete.
Blame the Sun in Gate 32 if these feelings are coming up. Recognize that those are low-vibe influences. And stand in your power so you can pivot to what’s right for you, instead.
Take this week as your opportunity to simply consider what parts of your life still have life — juice, verve, potential — left in them, and which have run their course.
I love that Mike Johnson is on the hot seat right now:
Dude, how long are you actually gonna keep delaying House Rep.-elect Grijalva’s swearing-in?
Time’s up. Pencils down.
This stalling tactic isn’t working for you or for anyone else.
Enough with the lame excuses about why it’s just not time yet.
Can’t you smell the failure in the air?

Ohhhhhh, wait. You can’t. I see why you won’t give up this nonsense.
See, Johnson doesn’t have Gate 32 (or the 54) defined in his chart.
Check it out above.
Nevertheless, he’s dedicated to this pursuit, you can say that for sure.
We’ll have to see how he handles this transit: Will he keep delaying, or will he finally cut his losses and swear her in?

No matter what the cost, Johnson is poised to keep doing something, whether it’s proving to be successful or not.
It’s right there, encoded into his cosmic DNA — laid out in his most prominent personality trait, the thing he’s here to be and share with the world, his ‘Conscious Sun’ in Human Design terms, indicated on the top right-hand column of his chart.
19.3 is the energy to keep showing up to demonstrate that he’s all-in, dedicated to, and invested in being a part of his tribe.
Whether his actions make any logical sense or not.
Dude just needs to feel like he belongs.
19 is the Gate of Wanting, a.k.a. Approach. It’s a highly-sensitive, extremely tender energy. It needs loads of hugs and sweet-nothings of constant reassurance. It’s also great at connecting group members with the resources they need, and making sure everyone in the tribe gets their fair share.
But 19, a huuuuuge factor in how Johnson operates, is also an energy that’s desperate to belong.
It can even cause a person to lash out if they feel as though they don’t belong to the group.
Ergo, it can cause a person to keep resources to themself instead of making sure everyone gets what they need.
It doesn’t matter to Johnson whether his actions are right, wrong, useful or smart.
If he’s operating in his shadow self, he’s just gonna keep delaying Grijalva’s swearing-in for as long as he can, so that he doesn’t get kicked out of his club.
And when I say club, I don’t mean the House of Representatives. No — his club is his twisted faction of the GOP.
It’d be great if Johnson takes a cue from the Sun this week, and uses this opportunity to acknowledge that this scheme to not swear in Madame 218 has run its course.
Time to let go, Mikey!
Thanks, as always, for reading and growing with me.
