How Mars and the Nodes are influencing us, July 7-16, 2025

Now that we know the Sun’s influencing us to start something new this week, keep in mind, as well, that other celestial bodies are adding their own flare to the mix, starting July 7:

The North and South Nodes both shift, ever so slightly, into Gates 22.4 and 47.4, respectively. I’ll break those down shortly.

Simultaneously, Mars, the planet that fuels us with passion, aggression, desire, courage, the masculine drive to compete and achieve things, and even sexual impulses, begins influencing us to get riled up over a sense of Confusion we’re having.

(No wonder it’s so hard being a person. We’re being tossed through a veritable clothes dryer of energetic influences coming at us from every direction, when what we’re really supposed to be doing in this lifetime is remaining steadfast and true to the energy we each uniquely hold inside us, which we inherited at the moment of our birth. Discover yours here.)

Waiting to Fill In The Big Picture: Mars transits Gate 64, the Gate of Confusion, July 7-16

Through July 16, Mars will have us (aggressively) trying to put all the little pieces of a complicated thing into their rightful place so that we can finally take a step back, make sense of what’s been swirling around so willy-nilly for too long, and really understand what’s been going on so that we can see the whole picture come into focus.

Picture of what, you may ask?

That’s your business.

What ‘big picture’ issues are incomplete — and thus, maddening — for you, right now?

What are you grappling with in your life?

What topics are your family members and neighbors murmuring that they just don’t know for sure what to do yet about?

What’s the Collective working through right now?

What concepts are, at this moment, incomplete and need more detail before we feel as though we can proceed?

I know where my mind is:

ruminating over the fact that it appears, based on a growing body of overwhelming evidence, that the 2024 election was manipulated in Dumpy Pants’ favor. And I want to see a hand audit of every last ballot each of us cast.

I’m even getting pretty aggro about it at this point. Frustration has set in.

Where are the blue-state governors? Where are the attorneys general? Why isn’t there an official investigation under way? Why isn’t anyone in the news talking about this?!

And that, my friends, is an entirely apropos example of what Mars is stirring up for us this week.

64, The Gate of Confusion, is deliciously Virgo energy that’s associated with our pineal gland.

This sucker is Crown-Chakra fodder, and it’s under enormous pressure to puzzle through things.

Let us clear out that pineal gland so that the pieces can start to come through and fit together in a clear picture.

But 64 is also what we refer to as Projected energy; as in, it must wait to be invited to share the picture of clarity it sees formulating in its mind’s eye, or else others will screw up their face or walk the other way, thinking, “What a weirdo.”

When we blurt out a flash of clarity before the right audience, at the right time, however, we can solve a massive problem for them and prevent them from banging their head against a wall any further.

Which is why it’s essential that we share what we see in our mind’s eye with those who are open to receiving our insights.

Here’s the key:

Gate 64, in the highest vibration, is patient AF:

It allows the whole picture of whatever it’s ogling at to become clear over time.

It doesn’t rush answers.

It doesn’t force puzzle pieces to fit into the wrong spots just to get it done.

But because it’s propelled by the Collective Circuit of the body, it’s here to share with the world the vivid truth it sees in the mind’s eye, once it materializes,

and this is what helps the Collective make sense of the past.

It just has to wait through the Confusion until the scene gets filled in, so that it knows what it’s really looking at, before it can go brain-dumping a mishmash of mental activity on other people who don’t wanna hear it.

Because that only makes them more confused.

64 is nicknamed “Before Completion.”

So I think of it as that brain-fog sensation that sets in when you’ve been over-thinking something and you just can’t figure it out, but you know you’re extremely close to it all making sense.

The tried-and-true way I’ve found to finally experience that A-ha moment I yearn for that clarifies everything is to just walk away from it for a while.

To distract myself and think about something else.

When I’m off in the garden, focusing on my Daylilies and basil plants instead of whatever Confusing issue had been eating up all my bandwidth prior, that’s when the Eureka insight flashes in.

Or that’s when my neighbor walks by and blurts out some truth nugget to clarify everything for me in a jiffy.

And that’s when I smack my forehead and go, “Of course! How could I have missed that?! Thank you!”

So let’s see if walking away from a confusing situation can help us this week. You never know where a flash of sudden insight might come from.

Nevertheless, experiencing Confusion can be enormously irritating.

And if Mars has anything to say about it, our Confusion could cause us to get, I dunno, violent? Kinky? Daring? Courageous?

This could get interesting…

Look for signs of aggression and/or passion when it comes to people trying to put all the individual pieces of evidence together to form a whole picture.

And remember: Gate 64’s infinite wisdom surrenders to the truth that Confusion is just an ordinary step in every process.

It doesn’t force information to come in before it’s ready to.

It doesn’t draw conclusions or make inferences without raw data.

Instead, it waits.

Nevertheless, I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled in the news, in my neighborhood, and right under my roof for signs of aggression and/or passion when it comes to people who’re desperately trying to put all the individual pieces of evidence together to form some complete, clear picture.

Here’s where 64 lives in the body, so you know what part of you is being activated during the course of this transit:

See it up there in the Crown, reaching down toward Gate 47, the Gate of Realization, in the Ajna Center?

It’ll be hanging out there for the next nine days, ticking through each of the six Lines of Confusion (e.g., 64.1, 64.2, and so on) until it shifts again on July 16.

This is where things are about to get super cool, because Gate 47 is also being activated right now, by the South Node.

Which means we all have access to that sucker, too.

You Cannot Think Your Way Out of This

The South Node transits Gate 47, the Gate of Realization, now through November 2, 2025:

The South Node, that lesson we are, collectively, trying to learn, once and for all, so that we can move past it and finally let go of, sits in Gate 47, the Gate of Realization, also known as the Gate of Oppression —

as in, when we let ourselves think too hard, our thoughts become our oppressors.

We oppress ourselves by overthinking!

But when we release the mental pressure and allow the Realizations to flow in over time, that’s when we have mental clarity;

that’s when we know a thing for certain.

All the puzzle pieces have been filled in.

There are no stones left to turn over.

We’ve allowed Divine Inspiration and Source Energy to move through us.

We trust that knowing comes in due time.

And we trust that when heads get filled with visual imagery, that’s the power of our Anja working overtime to help us see the full picture, crystal clear.

For the past two weeks, the South Node has been hanging out in the 5th Line of 47, which was all about having the mental power to maintain harmony with whatever forces were oppressing us so that we could be a source of calm and comfort to those who’ve been suffering.

Did we nail that?

Whether we’ve learned that lesson or not;

whether we’re ready to move on to the next one, the South Node is trucking ahead, with or without us.

It says,

“Pffft! Y’all have relied on your mental power for eons to find harmony with the forces of oppression. But the Mind ain’t all that. You’re gonna need to start using some of your other kinds of power, too; not just your thoughts.”

And so the South Node continues.

(Note that the Nodes move counterclockwise through the Rave Wheel, or the Mandala, so as we move through the Nodal Lines, it appears they’re going backwards. Having us retrace our steps, if you will.)

So today, July 7, the South Node moves into the 4th Line of Gate 47 to give us a different way to play with having Realizations, so that we can check this off our to-do list, too, and continue on our personal growth journey.

It stays in the 4th Line through July 13.

47.4 says that any pressure that’s coming from outside of ourselves to know something (or not know it) can’t stop us from pursuing clarity or reaching Realization.

Let’s unpack this, because it’s dense.

But, fwiw, don’t overthink it.

Self-inflicted, mental Tom-foolery is our own demise.

To reach the highest expression of 47.4, we can practice having the courage to express the truth about what thoughts are weighing down upon us,

what’s Oppressing us,

what’s creating mental chaos,

what doesn’t make any fucking sense,

because we live in a scary world right now.

There’s no denying it.

Pretending it’s all hunky-dory is insane.

Nevertheless, we cannot let that external pressure stop us from knowing what we know for certain:

Like, that all humans deserve to be treated with respect and compassion.

Like, that all humans deserve dignity.

Like, that we are all deeply loved and cherished by Divine Intelligence.

Like, that the United States Constitution provides for certain inalienable rights and protections, and that what’s taking place here right now ain’t meetin’ them standards.

The fact that so many of us are totally confounded and befuddled as to why these basic rights aren’t being upheld is totally on-point for this transit.

We know what we’re seeing with our own eyes.

No dictator nor any of his minions nor any of his co-conspirators can tell us we’re seeing something other than, for instance, a concentration camp being erected in the Everglades of Florida.

Cruelty, human rights violations, atrocities are being committed in broad daylight, with merch.

Regardless of how many Kona Ice trucks they put in the pictures that get aired on the news, we know for sure that is not the full story.

They cannot gaslight us!

Gate 47.4 says we must exercise the power to be our real selves, to think our own thoughts, and to have our own Realizations — even when our ‘knowing’ is being constrained or manipulated.

If we can wrangle the lesson embedded in this transit, we will ultimately understand that expressing our internal thoughts and Realizations about what’s actually going on is what will help us to survive under this pressure,

and if we do that, we can even help others do the same.

We are not here to let anyone tell us who we ‘should’ be, how we ‘should’ behave, what we ‘should’ believe, or how we ‘should’ think about things.

We must draw our own conclusions and trust our inner knowing.

That’s the lesson embedded in 47.7.

Let’s nail this down so that we don’t slide further into Oppression from a fascist regime.

Lord knows, we oppress ourselves with our own thoughts enough, as it is.

Remember: every blessed one of us on the planet has access to BOTH Gate 47 AND Gate 64 throughout these Mars-South Node transits.

Which means we ALL get to wield the full Channel of Abstraction, at least through July 13th.

Don’t let it get you all tangled up, confused and oppressed;

but also, don’t let the opportunity to make the most of this pass you by.

specifically, one of “mental activity mixed with clarity.”

Again, however, this energy is what we call Projected.

So we must wait to share our forehead-smacking eureka! insights until the time and audience are both correct.

Andplusalso, as my friend Lori says, usually those insights don’t pop in to help us solve our own problems;

usually, we receive flashes of clarity that help the whole picture make sense for an issue someone else is struggling with.

Oh, this whole quantum physics thing is strange and complicated, isn’t it?

So, let us allow our minds to fill with insights all week,

let us have the courage to share our clarity with the right people,

let us express our truth to solve each others’ problems,

let us get this cultural revolution under way through sharing the interesting, reality-expanding, clarity-inducing, thought-provoking images we’re all seeing in our mind’s eye,

and let us check the lessons of Gate 47.4 off our to-do list.

But, you may be wondering, if we’re moving away from mental Realization, what are we moving toward?

Expressing Emotional Maturity

The North Node transits Gate 22, the Gate of Grace, Now through November 2, 2025

Meanwhile, the North Node, that thing we’re working toward as a collective, transits Gate 22, the Gate of Grace, activating our Emotional Solar Plexus.

Here’s where it lives in the body:

Do you have this one defined in your chart?

If so, you’ll be familiar with its traits.

If not, hold onto your hat, because this is gonna be one heck of an emotional roller coaster for you.

And that’s the whole point:

This transit wants you to FEEL something! And not to hide it!

The Gate of Grace is the energy for raw, unedited, unscripted, unapologetic emotional expression.

And it can be absolutely breathtaking, magnetic AF, radiantly gorgeous, charming and charismatic when it’s operating in the highest vibration.

But when it’s sliding into the shadow realms?

Grace has us turning into melodramatic divas.

Spoiled brats.

We sulk in our green rooms.

We refuse to come out because we’re so vain that we can’t stop looking at ourselves in the mirror and hating what we see.

All that mascara running down our faces.

We recoil from public view to throw a tantrum on the floor instead;

snot globules dripping off our chins.

But when we allow ourselves to feel the pain of suffering that all of humanity is under, which Gate 22 is hardwired to do, and we allow ourselves to transmute it into art, poetry, prose, dance, or melody —

that’s when Grace emerges into the spotlight, shines like a diamond, and captivates a crowd.

A rapt audience watches and listens with baited breath.

You can hear a pin drop as Grace takes a breath after a freakishly-long-sung note.

Grace’s emotionally-charged delivery is utterly transformational.

You can’t help but feel something.

Start practicing this now, says the North Node.

Because emotionality is where it’s at.

When we share what’s aching in our hearts, gracefully —

like, for example, the way Adele does, when her voice bellows from the deepest bowels of her being to express her version of human suffering, so richly and exquisitely that you can’t help but sob tears you didn’t even know you had —

we change public perception,

we reclaim the narrative,

we evoke an emotional response in others,

and we cause those who are sleepy, risk-averse, robotic and/or avoidant to awaken so that they finally become empathetic!

Do you see? We can make the ones who’ve had their heads buried in the sand to wake the fuck up, at last!

So, what are you waiting for?!

Holding your emotions in ain’t gettin’ us nowhere!

Now, specifically, through July 13, the North Node works its way through the 4th Line of Grace, which is all about bypassing social formalities, saying,

“To hell with your manners and decorum!” so that we are empowered to share the honest-to-God truth about how we feel.

It’s time to cut to the chase.

Stop putting on airs.

Do you hear me, Chuck Schumer?!

We’re way past following the social etiquette rules that Dear Abby or Ann Landers spelled out for us, yesteryear.

That shit no longer works!

Now’s the time for us to redefine what emotional maturity looks like.

And in 2025, it doesn’t look like denying your feelings,

or tamping them down

or keeping them in check

or pretending you’re “fine! Everything’s fine!”

It’s about letting ourselves feel the fucking pain and then transmute it into something everyone can empathize with.

So, go ahead. Show the ache that’s festering in your soul.

Turn it into art.

The North Node is urging us to learn that denying our feelings will be our own demise.
